Celebrating Ghana's Independence

Today the World Cocoa Foundation joins Ghana and Ghanaians throughout the world in celebrating 50 years of Ghana’s independence. On March 6, 1957 Ghana became the first African country to gain independence. On this historic occasion, we extend our warmest wishes to the cocoa farmers and teachers participating in WCF programs and all of our Ghanaian partners and friends.

As the celebrations and festivities continue today and throughout this year, we welcome you to share your best wishes and your experience commemorating this historical year through your personal comments on this blog entry.

We look forward to hearing from you.
